Museum's Comic Display: "Diary of the Emotions" Historical Exhibition Unveils on Thursday
The Halle City Museum is set to host the ceremonial opening of the "Bloody Sneaker" exhibit on Thursday, September 4th, at 3 pm. The event will take place at the museum's location on Große Märkerstraße 10.
The "Bloody Sneaker" comic, a collaborative creation by local youth, has already been on display at the museum. Last year, it was awarded in the International Comic Competition for Youth by the German War Graves Organization, marking its recognition in an international competition.
This award-winning comic will be on display from September 4th to November 16th, as part of a special exhibition at the Halle City Museum. The exhibit is not only a testament to the creative talents of our local youth but also a significant historical piece.
The "Bloody Sneaker" comic is based on the research conducted by the youth in a history project named "Diary of Emotions," which delved into the story of the "Shoe Runner Commando" at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Despite extensive research, the identity of the comic's author remains unknown.
Admission to the exhibit's ceremonial opening is free, making it an event not to be missed. Whether you're a comic enthusiast, a history buff, or simply curious, come join us on September 4th at 3 pm to witness the opening of the "Bloody Sneaker" exhibit at the Halle City Museum.
