In an extraordinary gesture of gratitude and respect, the Asia Luxury Cruise Corporation has announced a special programme titled 'Tribute to Those Who Guarded the Nation.' This programme offers 1,000 complimentary cruises to war veterans, wounded and sick soldiers, people who contributed to the nation's revolutionary cause, and relatives of martyrs.

The cruises will take place in Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its serene setting, sea air, and breathtaking scenery. The programme aims to honour the sacrifices of the participants and give them a chance to relax and enjoy the beauty of this magnificent bay.

Quảng Ninh Province, where Ha Long Bay is located, has been experiencing a significant surge in tourism. In the first eight months of 2025, nearly 2.94 million international tourists visited the province, marking a 23% year-on-year increase. Tourism revenue reached VNĐ41.38 trillion (over US$1.6 billion), a year-on-year increase of more than 20%.

The province is focusing on diversifying its offerings, especially autumn-winter experiences. The package includes round-trip transportation from Ha Noi, sightseeing tours, meals, accommodation, and photography services.

The cruises are part of a broader initiative by Hapag Lloyd Kreuzfahrten, with the free tickets offered in Hamburg, Germany. The cruises depart and return from Hamburg, including routes to the North Sea and other destinations.

Quảng Ninh Province expects about 70 international cruise ship arrivals in 2025, bringing nearly 90,000 overseas tourists. During the recent four-day National Day holiday (August 30 - September 2), the province received nearly 340,000 visitors.

The luxury day cruises and the Ambassador Cruises II dinner ship, which have a combined capacity of 600 seats, are ready to welcome the honoured guests. The programme runs until October 31, 2023.

As Quảng Ninh Province continues to attract more tourists, its focus on preserving and showcasing its rich heritage sites, such as Hạ Long Bay, Bái Tử Long Bay, and Yên Tự, is commendable. The 'Tribute to Those Who Guarded the Nation' programme is a testament to this commitment and a heartwarming tribute to the nation's heroes.

For those interested in registering for the programme, the programme hotline is 0973.811.263.
