Neighbor under threat, resulting in arrest of the offender
Yesterday afternoon, an alarming incident unfolded in Wilhelmstadt, at a multi-family building on Wรถrther Street. According to the available police report, a 61-year-old man was involved in an incident where he allegedly pointed a firearm at a 35-year-old woman.
The woman alerted the police to the scene, and a judicial search warrant was issued. Special forces entered the man's apartment, where they found two blank-firing weapons, a rendered inoperable firearm, ammunition, and a practice hand grenade. All the found items were seized.
The 61-year-old man was arrested and taken to a hospital for further treatment, where he sustained facial injuries during the arrest. His name has not been disclosed in the police report.
The subsequent investigation was taken over by a specialized unit of Police Directorate 2 (West). The man was found to have these items in his apartment, and it remains unclear whether they were used during the alleged confrontation.
