In Offenburg, authorities are investigating a robbery that occurred around 8:20 AM on Monday in the Wilhelm-Drapp-Straße. A 40-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman are under suspicion for the incident.

According to preliminary reports, the suspects allegedly placed items in a 40-year-old's backpack and left the supermarket without paying. A physical altercation ensued between the suspects and a store detective during the incident.

Upon apprehending the suspects, officers found several grams of white powder on them, which preliminary tests suggest is cocaine.

The Police Headquarters Offenburg is leading the investigation, with the Criminal Investigation Department in Rastatt and the Criminal Police Directorate Heidelberg conducting further investigations against the duo.
