New appointment announced: Worldline brings in a new Chief People Officer

Anika Grant has been named as the new Chief People Officer and Executive Committee member of Worldline, a leading European player in the payment and transactional services industry. This announcement comes after the departure of Florence Gallois, who is pursuing professional opportunities outside the company.

Grant brings over 30 years of experience in strategic talent management to her new role. She began her career at Accenture as a consultant and has since held senior, global HR roles at Dyson and Uber, where she played a significant part in driving leadership and culture changes leading up to and post their successful IPOs.

Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, CEO of Worldline, expressed confidence in Grant's ability to guide the company through its transformations. "Anika's extensive experience in strategic HR, workforce transformation, and culture will be invaluable as we continue to shape Worldline's future," he said.

Grant's career focuses on leading large-scale organizational transformations from an HR perspective. At Uber, for instance, she helped drive significant leadership and culture changes, and at Dyson, she led an operating model transformation.

In addition to her business acumen, Grant is fluent in English and French and holds a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of New South Wales. She is an Australian national with extensive international experience, having worked in Sydney, London, Singapore, and Paris.

Florence Gallois' efforts have supported Worldline's evolution towards a more agile and cohesive organization. Her tenure saw her driving Worldline's People strategy, strengthening the HR team, and modernizing processes. Her contributions will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the company.

Anika Grant's leadership is expected to shape a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture at Worldline. With her appointment, Worldline continues to position itself for success in the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Since 2019, Grant has held various Board Advisory roles, but there are no available search results or public information indicating which international companies she has advised as a Board Advisor. However, after leaving Ubisoft, she has been advising large, multi-national companies on strategic HR, workforce transformation, and culture.

Prior to her role at Worldline, Grant managed a global Centre of Expertise in Talent Strategy at Accenture and held the HR Director position for a European Region at the same company.

As Grant takes on her new role, she follows in the footsteps of Florence Gallois, whose efforts have been instrumental in shaping Worldline's current state. Grant's leadership is poised to build upon Gallois' legacy and take Worldline to new heights.
