New hire: Sidharth Kedia becomes COO at Mythik following $15 million investment from SRK's Private Office

Sidharth Kedia, a seasoned media, entertainment, and gaming executive, has joined Mythik, the technology-first entertainment startup, as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mythik, which was founded earlier this year, recently raised $15 million in funding from a group of investors, including SRK's Family Office.

Kedia brings a wealth of experience to Mythik, having worked in some of the biggest names in the industry. He started his career at General Electric before moving on to Reliance, where he worked alongside Chairman Mukesh Ambani. Kedia also served as head of JioGames and a senior vice president at Jio Platforms, where he played a crucial role in scaling the telecom giant's gaming division.

At Viacom18, Kedia served as chief strategy officer, helping drive regional television expansion and shape the company's digital and streaming offerings. He also co-founded Ambit Pragma Ventures, an investment firm, and built the media and entertainment investment practice at the firm. The chairman of Ambit Pragma Ventures, co-founded by Kedia, is Rajiv Madhok.

Kedia's impressive resume includes a stint at Nodwin Gaming, where he expanded the business from one to eight countries and raised $50 million in funding. He also managed the project management office for Jio's telecom launch and led the integration of Network18 into Reliance Industries.

In his new role at Mythik, Kedia will oversee operations and strategic finance as the company advances its vision of building the "Disney from the East." With his extensive experience in the media, entertainment, and gaming sectors, Kedia is well-positioned to help Mythik achieve its ambitious goals.

Kedia is a Chartered Accountant with an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business. His appointment as COO of Mythik is a significant step forward for the startup and a testament to Kedia's impressive career trajectory.
