New leader of RBB appointed

After a series of announcements, it has been confirmed that Nina Siegers will assume the role of the new head of the Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) on October 15, not October 1 as previously stated.

Verena Keysers, the current head of the rbb, will be leaving her position to take over the department of corporate development within the organisation. This change was not originally reported to be in the department of rbb.

Keysers has been a significant figure at the rbb, having started her career at RadioBerlin 88.8 of the rbb and holding various positions within the organisation. She is also the current team leader in the Cross-Media News Center of the rbb.

Nina Siegers, who will succeed Keysers, began her journalistic career at RadioBerlin 88.8 of the rbb and has served as the chief editor since 2012. She has also been responsible for planning and podcasts of rbb24 Inforadio as an editorial manager, and more recently, she has been serving as the team leader in the Cross-Media News Center of the rbb.

The change in leadership at the rbb is expected to occur on October 15. It is worth noting that Siegers is a 51-year-old lawyer and journalist.

In a surprising turn of events, Patricia Schlesinger has been announced as the one who will take over the leadership of the rbb intendanture in October 2023. The exact details of Schlesinger's background and roles within the rbb are yet to be disclosed.

This news marks a significant shift in the leadership of the rbb, with Siegers taking on a new challenge and Schlesinger preparing to step into the role in the future. The rbb community looks forward to the continued growth and success under the new leadership.
