New leaders emerge within private industry
In a significant move, the city council of Pforzheim has appointed new leaders for the business areas of Economic Development and Location & Congress Marketing. Ansgar Roese, a highly experienced economic developer, will take charge of the Economic Development sector, while Sascha Binoth, with extensive experience in city management, will head the Location & Congress Marketing department.
Ansgar Roese, a 45-year-old professional with a rich background in economic development, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has worked in the Office for Economic Development of the state capital Düsseldorf, at "hannoverimpuls GmbH", and at Economic Development Frankfurt GmbH. Roese will be the central point of contact for all area and industry-related tasks in the fields of existing development and company settlement. He will also oversee the industries and networks of precision technology, IT and media, jewelry and watches, and creative industries.
Roese's role will encompass driving forward the implementation of the Center for Precision Technology, ensuring intensive contact between economic development and resident companies, and managing the WSP university service and skilled worker security, which fall under economic development.
Sascha Binoth, on the other hand, will be responsible for marketing the Congress Centre and positioning Pforzheim as a conference location. Binoth has studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and completed additional studies in marketing and media pedagogy. He brings extensive experience, particularly as a city manager in Karlsruhe, to his new role in the business area "Location and Congress Marketing".
Binoth will ensure a comprehensive and customer-oriented offer through close integration with tourism marketing. His responsibilities also include strengthening the city centre and coordinating classic city marketing. Additionally, Binoth will take over the event management department due to the retirement of Rüdiger Fricke, and will also be responsible for WSP events.
The municipal enterprise Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim (WSP) is filling the second management level with these appointments. The current WSP business area leader, Reiner Müller, will retire at the beginning of August. The WSP particularly supports the founding and growth of young companies through the operation of the founding centers INNOTEC and EMMA.
However, the search results do not provide information about which person is taking over the "Location and Congress Marketing" business area at Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim or from when.
Binoth will also be responsible for ensuring a close collaboration between marketing and tourism, ensuring that Pforzheim is well-positioned as a conference location and a vibrant city for visitors. Roese's leadership in economic development will continue to foster the growth and development of existing businesses and industries in the city.
