New Holland Agriculture Introduces Enhanced T5S and T7 Tractor Models
New Holland Agriculture, a leading name in the agricultural industry, has unveiled its latest offering - the T5S and T7 tractor series. These new models promise more power, comfort, and digital intelligence.
The T5S series includes tractors with 90, 100, and a new 110 hp. One of the key features is the Dynamic Start & Stop function, which replaces the clutch when braking, offering smoother operation in T5S models.
For those seeking more advanced technology, T5S models can optionally be equipped with telematics and lifelong connectivity. This feature allows remote monitoring and diagnostics, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime.
The top model T7.225 offers customers a choice between Dynamic Command and Auto Command transmissions. The electronic PowerShuttle enables clutch-free direction changes with the 12x12 transmission in T5S models, further enhancing convenience.
The revised front axle in the T5S series ensures faster steering reaction and more precise handling. The SuperSteer front axle option improves maneuverability, making these tractors ideal for tight spaces.
In terms of power, the T7 SWB models are equipped with a FPT NEF 6.7-liter Stage V engine. The engine offers increased tank capacities (350 l diesel, 48 l AdBlue) and a new power curve. The Engine Power Management provides an additional 25% more power for transport, PTO, and hydraulic work.
The compact T7 SWB models feature a turning radius that is reduced by 17%, from 14.3 m to 11.4 m, making them highly maneuverable. The allowable total weight of T7 SWB models is 13.5 t, and the payload capacity is up to 5.5 t. All T7 SWB models have a wheelbase of 2,789 mm.
For those who value digital features, the T5S models come with a digital instrument cluster that adapts to ambient light. This cluster displays data on fuel consumption, processed area, travel distance, engine and transmission parameters, among others. In combination with the IntelliView IV Plus display and DirecSteer, parallel driving is possible in T5S models.
From 2026, the T5S tractors will be available with a factory-installed electric steering system. This eco-friendly feature is sure to appeal to environmentally conscious farmers.
The T7.180, T7.190, and T7.210 models are available with the new Auto Command 3x1 CVT transmission. This transmission offers smooth, efficient power delivery, making these models ideal for demanding tasks.
In conclusion, the new T5S and T7 tractor models from New Holland Agriculture are a significant step forward in agricultural technology. With their increased power, improved comfort, and advanced digital features, these tractors are set to redefine farming as we know it.
