Newcomer Stephen Scuderi Wins Black Chip Bounty After 14-Hour Poker Marathon

The Black Chip Bounty event concluded after nearly 14 hours of intense poker, attracting 345 entries. The tournament saw Stephen Scuderi, a relative newcomer to the poker scene, emerge victorious, claiming the top prize.

Scuderi's victory is his second in his short career, following a High Roller ring win at the WSOP-C Toronto in 2024. His most significant cash before this event was a runner-up finish in a PLO event. The final hand of the Black Chip Bounty saw Scuderi and Cindy Kerslake locked in a heads-up battle for nearly an hour.

In a crucial moment, Scuderi won a large pot with a set of ducks, outplaying Kerslake's top-top pair. Earlier, Kerslake had won a substantial 1.5 million chip pot with a flopped king. However, Scuderi's river flush in another key hand sealed Kerslake's fate, turning her straight into a losing hand.

Stephen Scuderi's victory in the Black Chip Bounty event marks another significant milestone in his poker career. Despite his newcomer status, Scuderi has proven his mettle with several high finishes in regional tournaments and cash games. His second victory in this event further cements his place in the poker world.
