Night of Culture in Greifswald on September 12, 2025

Get ready for an exciting night of arts, music, and entertainment as the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald host the 23rd Greifswald Cultural Night on Friday, September 12, 2025. Approximately 40 participants will take part in this event, which will take place at well-known and unusual locations across the city.

The program brochure for the Cultural Night is available for anyone interested in attending the event. You can find it at the Greifswald Information Center on the market, participating organizations, and online at www.our website/kulturnacht. An interactive map of all venues is also available, making it easy to plan your route for the evening.

The event will kick off with the "Singing Balconies" in Schönwalde II at 5:00 PM. This will be followed by a variety of performances and exhibitions throughout the city. Studio Galerie Greifswald will host a painting exhibition by Ulrike Hochgrebe and music by "Drumming with the Greats". The "Kaffeemühle" café will feature "Klarinakkord", while the "Störtebeker Braugasthaus" will have a performance by pianist Tobias Altripp & friends.

Each participant in the Cultural Night is responsible for the organization, format, and content of their contributions, ensuring a diverse range of facets and genres showcasing Greifswald's vibrant cultural scene. Some venues may start their programs earlier than the official start time, so be sure to check the program brochure for details.

This year's Cultural Night graphic was designed by Finn Wunderwald, a student at the Media and IT School at the Wirtschaftsakademie Nord. The exact event times and venues for the new additions during the Cultural Night are provided in the official program booklet, which can be found at the locations mentioned above. Any program changes or updates for the Cultural Night will be posted on the official Greifswald Kulturnacht website.

The event is coordinated and promoted by the Department of Education, Culture & Sports of the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald. We look forward to seeing you there!
