The eligibility period for the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards has come to a close, and this year's nominations have been announced. Here's a roundup of the nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Daytime Drama Series and some highlights from their performances.

In The Young and the Restless, Courtney Hope is nominated for her portrayal of Sally Spectra. Hope's performance was praised for her depiction of Sally's heartbreak and rage during her breakup with Adam, as well as her mending process after the split. She also made headlines for ending things with Nick for the younger Newman. Hope's rival in the category is Susan Walters, who plays Diane Abbott on the same show. Walters's performances in 2024 included confronting Jack, pretending to fallout with Jack for Kyle's sake, and having tough conversations with Kyle about his past trauma.

Another nominee is Linsey Godfrey and Emily O'Brien of Days of Our Lives for their roles in the series. Godfrey and O'Brien have been recognised for their compelling performances throughout the year.

Eileen Davidson is also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Daytime Drama Series for her role in The Young and the Restless.

Last year's winner, Courtney Hope, will be hoping to repeat her success, but there is a possibility that the supporting actress category ends in a tie between Hope and Susan Walters. The winner of the 2025 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series is not yet known, and ties are rare in Emmy categories.
