Nvidia's RTX 5060 release might be pushed back to April at the very latest.

Nvidia has announced a delay in the release of its highly anticipated graphics cards, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti. The exact dates of the release are yet to be confirmed, but initial rumours pointed towards a March launch. However, due to "geopolitical concerns," the release is now expected to be delayed by one to two months.

This delay comes amidst Nvidia's ongoing struggles with stock shortages, which have limited access to its higher-end graphics cards such as the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070. In an attempt to combat scalpers, Nvidia has introduced a raffle system called "priority access" that limits stock to verified members of the official Nvidia forums.

The cheaper RTX 5060 may not be released until mid-May, while the RTX 5060 Ti, available in both 16 GB and 8 GB of VRAM, is expected to be released in mid-April. Interestingly, Nvidia did not discuss its lower-end graphics cards at its GTC 2025 conference, which supports the April release timeline.

The source of this information comes from forum posts on Board Channels, first reported by Videocardz. It's important to note that there is no official confirmation that the delays are due to or exacerbated by the ongoing Trump tariffs on imports from China.

Meanwhile, AMD has faced similar issues with low stocks and inflated prices for its Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT. AIC maker Yeston has predicted that Radeon stocks will stabilize "after April."

In other tech news, Google has delayed the release of its Pixel 9a citing a "component quality issue," and Nothing, the makers of the upcoming Nothing 3a Pro, have delayed preorders for its top-end smartphone and set orders to ship on April 15.

As always, stay tuned for the latest updates in the tech world.
