"Odessa A'zion of 'Pools' expresses anticipation that her John Hughes-inspired drama will enable viewers to reconnect with their more carefree, youthful selves."

Sam Hayes, the director of the upcoming film "Pools", has partnered with Utopia for a unique rollout strategy. This strategy involves summer pool party premieres, transforming going to the movies into an unforgettable experience.

Utopia's head of marketing and distribution, Kyle Greenberg, supports Hayes' vision, aiming to make "Pools" screenings a night out to remember. The film, a coming-of-age dramedy about a group of college students pool hopping in Chicago, has already created quite a buzz.

The New York showing of "Pools" attracted a large crowd, bigger than traditional theaters can accommodate. The youthful crowd gathered for the L.A. premiere on Thursday evening, and the event followed a DJ performance and was followed by a pool party.

"Pools" stars Odessa A'zion, Michael Vlamis, Ariel Winter, Tyler Alvarez, Mason Gooding, Francesca Noel, and Suzanne Cryer. Vlamis, who plays air conditioning repairman Michael and is also an executive producer on "Pools", fell in love with the script because of its wacky, funny, and heartfelt nature.

Perhaps best summarizing the film's message, Tyler Alvarez, who plays uptight prospective med student Blake, hopes audiences will take away a sense of not taking themselves too seriously. Ariel Winter, who plays Kennedy's friend Delaney, relates to the characters' struggles to find themselves and figure out their place in the world.

"Pools" had a U.S. premiere at Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival in August and won the Best Comedy Feature and Best Actress awards. The film also premiered at SXSW Sydney in October last year and won the festival's Audience Award.

The message of "Pools" is to make the most of life if it doesn't matter or have any meaning. Odessa A'zion, who plays the main character Kennedy in "Pools", hopes audiences will connect with their younger, freer selves while watching Kennedy's story.

"Pools" dances in the footsteps of John Hughes while meeting a more contemporary Y.A. audience. The film has partnered with Utopia's Circle Collective for a limited theatrical distribution on 80 screens across the U.S. The "Pools" screenings are designed to be events or activations, turning going to the movies into experiences.

Don't miss out on this unique movie-going experience. "Pools" hits theaters this weekend.
