Hanau and South-East Hesse Police Presidency Host Joint Citizens' Office Hours

In a collaborative effort to address public safety concerns, the City of Hanau and the South-East Hesse Police Presidency will be hosting monthly joint citizens' office hours in various districts. The first event of this series is scheduled for Monday, September 1, from 4 to 5 PM, at the South-East District Center (Alfred-Delp-Straße 8, 63450 Hanau).

Councilwoman Isabelle Hemsley, who is also the Head of the Ordnance Department, emphasized the importance of working together with local residents to find solutions. She stated that security is strongest when administration, police, and residents work together.

During the citizens' office hours, residents can discuss their concerns about public safety and order with representatives from the Hanau Police Station and the municipal Ordnance Office. The goal is to provide an easy way to share specific concerns or observations, and to work together to find solutions.

Florian Bauer, who is involved with the event, encourages everyone to attend. He can be reached at [email protected] for any press-related inquiries. It is important to note that no registration is required to attend the citizens' office hours.

The City of Hanau and the South-East Hesse Police Presidency will continue to hold these joint citizens' office hours monthly in the districts of North-West, South-East, Weststadt, Lamboy/Tümpelgarten, and Klein-Auheim. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to community engagement and ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.

So, if you have any concerns or observations about public safety and order in your district, mark Monday, September 1, in your calendar and come to the South-East District Center to have your voice heard. Together, we can work towards a safer and more secure Hanau.
