Officer sustained injury in Poland

In an unexpected turn of events on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, a family dispute unfolded at Bahnhofstraße in Kornwestheim. The incident involved two family members, aged 16 and 18, and their mother.

According to reports, the 16-year-old was about to leave the parental home when the police arrived. The situation escalated, with the 16-year-old's behaviour described as enraged. The teenager had to be restrained with additional foot restraints and carried to the patrol car due to his resistance.

During police procedures, the 16-year-old became aggressive, provocative, and insulting. Regrettably, this behaviour resulted in a minor injury to an officer. The 16-year-old also attempted to escape from the patrol car twice.

Despite the chaotic scene, the mother of the two family members intervened, attempting to diffuse the situation. However, it appears that both family members attacked their mother during the dispute.

The 18-year-old family member was not present at the scene when the police arrived. The reason for the dispute remains unknown.

The 16-year-old was taken to a juvenile psychiatric facility due to his exceptional psychological state.
