Officers in pursuit of potential witnesses and further evidence
In the past few days, several incidents of vehicle damage and theft have been reported in the South East Hesse District. The South East Hesse Police Headquarters, located at Spessartring 61, 63071 Offenbach am Main, is actively investigating these cases.
On Tuesday night in Hanau, a man, approximately 1.80 meters tall with black short hair, was seen damaging a Hyundai's left side mirror around 2.20 AM. The perpetrator was wearing a black vest, white pullover, and black pants.
In Gelnhausen, a gray Mercedes C 180 was damaged in a collision in the parking lot of the Lidl market while the owner was shopping. The culprit fled without reporting the accident or leaving their data, causing about 2,000 euros in damage.
Thieves stole a blue Audi Q7 with MKK license plates from a courtyard in Erlensee between Tuesday 8.45 PM and Wednesday 7 AM. The vehicle, valued at approximately 50,000 euros, has not been recovered yet.
Additionally, an unknown person caused severe damage to a Mercedes in Bruchköbel between Saturday 8 PM and Monday 6 AM. The damage, estimated to be several thousand euros, was inflicted using a sharp object.

The Hanau criminal police are seeking tips regarding a car theft in Biggleswade Straße, Erlensee, and the Langenselbold police station are accepting tips regarding a severely damaged Mercedes in Bruchköbel.
The Gelnhausen police station are also asking for witnesses regarding the damaged Mercedes in the parking lot of the Lidl market in Gelnhausen.
