Offices pelted with rocks and civilians assaulted in the district area
In the heart of the Central District, an unsettling incident unfolded yesterday morning. An unidentified individual assaulted a woman at a bank on Klosterstraße.
The suspect, who remains at large, was reported to have pulled a woman's hair during the attack. The victim, shaken by the incident, left the scene shortly after.
Two brave witnesses, aged 17 and 63, attempted to intervene, but the suspect retaliated by pelting them with a glass bottle. Remarkably, neither witness was hit, and they remained unharmed.
Another woman, aged 55, later reported being struck by the suspect, potentially suggesting multiple victims. However, the exact nature of the injuries sustained by the victims is not specified in the report.
The bank where the assault occurred is located in the Central district, and the incident was followed by an act of vandalism at the same location. The details of the vandalism are not yet clear.
The specialized unit of Police Directorate 5 (City) is currently handling the investigations into the incident. The suspect's direction of escape after the incident is still unknown.
As the city waits for more information, the community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. The safety and well-being of its residents is the top priority for the city.
