Oil crisis in city center requires immediate attention (Allensbach G1)
On November 26, 2024, at 08:27 AM, an oil spill was reported on the B33 at the Ost exit to the Schmieder Clinic in Allensbach. The Allensbach Fire Department was called with a full alarm to manage the incident.
Upon arrival, the oil spill had already spread widely due to the wet road and passing vehicles. The extent of the oil spill was approximately two kilometers long.
The fire department immediately took action, treating hazardous curve areas and the municipal road with an oil-binding agent to prevent further spread. A sweeper machine was requested to clean the road "Im Tafelholz", but it is not mentioned if this task has been completed.
