Oncology practice at Ivana Cherney undergoing renovations remains open, accepting patients.

The Tomsk Oncological Dispensary, located at 96, Ivan Chernykh Street, Building 16, is currently undergoing a significant renovation. According to an announcement made by Robert Fidarov, the Head of Tomsk Oblast's Health Department, the renovation is being carried out in two phases.

In the first phase, common areas, part of the heating system, flooring, walls, and around 40 new interior doors are being updated. This phase has already seen the completion of the repair of the heat node, corridors, and central lobby.

The second phase, scheduled to begin soon, will focus on 17 wards and five service rooms. During this phase, the floor will be replaced, walls painted, new radiators installed, windows replaced, and sanitary and electrical equipment updated. Notably, new sofas will appear in the waiting areas, and a modern navigation system will be developed for the entire department.

The renovation works are being funded by the regional budget and regional deputies. Over 13.5 million rubles have been allocated for these works, with an additional 1.5 million rubles provided by regional deputies from the fund for unforeseen expenses. Over 1.5 million rubles have also been allocated for the equipping of wards and the installation of a medical sister's post from the same fund.

New bedside cabinets, medical mattresses, blankets, water dispensers, televisions, and other necessary equipment will be purchased with the funds from the regional deputies. However, the regional deputy who contributed over 1.5 million rubles from the fund for unforeseen expenses to equip the stations and establish a sister station in the Chemotherapy Department of the Tomsk Oncological Dispensary has not been publicly identified.

Despite the renovation, the Tomsk Oncological Dispensary will continue accepting patients throughout the process. The renovation is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, providing patients with a more comfortable and modern environment for their treatment.
