In the heart of Bocholt, a suspected tornado caused extensive damage in the Mussum district on Wednesday evening, leaving a residential building uninhabitable due to the complete destruction of its roof. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the storm-related incidents.
The Bocholt Fire Department, along with forces from the ESB, swiftly responded to the incident at Loikumer Weg, deploying a total of 50 personnel for approximately 3 hours. The main focus of their efforts was in the Mussum district, where not only the damaged building but also surrounding residential properties suffered damage from debris.
At several other locations, fallen trees were cleared by the Bocholt Fire Department, ensuring the safety of the community.
