Osnabrück City Library's New Approach to Digitalizing Vinyl Records

The City Library of Osnabrück is delighted to announce the expansion of its digitalization offerings, now including a vinyl-to-digital conversion service. This exciting new service is provided by the library's media workshop, "Bild & Ton", located at Markt 1.

Starting in September 20XX, library members can convert their old vinyl records to digital format free of charge. To use the service, individuals must first attend a brief introductory event where the operation of the device will be explained. During the conversion process, a professional turntable will be used to digitise the vinyl records, with the converted files saved onto a USB stick. After the introductory event, the digitalization studio can be booked flexibly via the city library's information desk.

The "Bild & Ton" studio is no stranger to digitalization services, having previously offered a well-received service for digitizing slides, negatives, and photos. Many users have requested the addition of vinyl record digitization, and the library is thrilled to now be able to meet this demand.
