In the Nev'yansky municipal district, significant strides have been made in the ongoing road repair and reconstruction efforts as part of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project.

By the end of 2025, a total of 285 kilometers of regional roads are slated for renovation. This ambitious plan includes the Serov highway, where road workers have already completed several crucial phases of construction. Throughout the construction season, they have removed the old surface, replaced unsuitable soil, restored the earthen base, and built leveling and shoulder layers from a gravel-sand mixture.

Notably, the Polevskoy - Mramorskoe road has seen the completion of asphalt laying ahead of schedule. Similarly, road sections leading to schools and stadiums in Yekaterinburg have been successfully repaired, as reported previously.

Denis Chegaev, head of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Road Management, has emphasised the importance of monitoring technology compliance at all stages of repair work. This commitment to quality is evident in the work done on the Serov highway, where road workers have exceeded the plan for top layers by 13% on the stretch from the 236th to the 244th kilometer.

Five culverts have been cleaned and repaired on the Serov highway, which is located near Lake Tavatuะน. The contractor has now begun the final stage of work on the Serov highway - resurfacing the asphalt.

The reverse direction stretch on the Serov highway, between the 298th and 309th kilometers, spans 11 kilometers. However, the person responsible for leading the construction works for this 11-kilometer asphalt paving on the Serov highway between kilometers 298 and 309 has not been specified, and the completion date of the works is not provided.

Meanwhile, asphalt laying on the Artemovskiy - Zaykovo road from its beginning to the 13th kilometer is also ahead of schedule. Governor Denis Pasler has announced that over 170 kilometers of roads leading to educational institutions will be updated by the Day of Knowledge.

Under the "Infrastructure for Life" national project, over 250 kilometers of roads and 1.5 kilometers of artificial structures are planned for renovation. Asphalt laying for this project is on track to cover 1.7 million square meters by September's beginning.

These developments underscore the commitment to improving the region's infrastructure and ensuring smooth travel for its residents and visitors alike.
