Over 70 merchants set to showcase their items at the approaching Second Saturday Del Ray Vintage and Flea Market
On Saturday, September 13, the Del Ray Vintage and Flea Market will make its return, filling the parking lots of Del Ray Psych & Wellness, Salvation Army, and the Corner of Mount Vernon and E. Custis Avenues with a diverse array of vintage goods.
Organised by Amy Eggers, the market has been a staple event in the Del Ray community every second Saturday for six years now. Eggers, who is also the owner of Stardust Vintage and Gift located at 1904 Mount Vernon Avenue, started the market with just a handful of vendors and has since grown it organically through an application process.
This market is not to be confused with the Del Ray Business Association's Second Saturday art and craft market, which is held at Gustave Boulangerie separately. The Del Ray Vintage and Flea Market is a unique event, offering more than 70 vendors selling their vintage goods, with a good mix of items for people of all ages and a focus on good quality.
Eggers aims to maintain a balanced market, ensuring a wide variety of items for all age groups. With more than 2,000 people attending the market in August, it's clear that the community appreciates the diverse offerings.
If the weather is good, Eggers expects a big turnout for the upcoming event. The market hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing ample time for shoppers to browse and find treasures.
Whether you're a collector, a decor enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun day out, the Del Ray Vintage and Flea Market is the place to be on September 13. So, mark your calendars and get ready to discover some hidden gems!
