In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, several significant developments have taken place over the past few days.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that approximately 100,000 Palestinians have evacuated Gaza City ahead of the Israeli offensive. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) estimates that around 40,000 Palestinians have left the city.

Netanyahu has also revealed that the Israeli Army has destroyed 50 terrorist towers in Gaza City over the past two days. He added that the intensification of ground maneuvers in Gaza City is just the beginning of a larger operation.

Four Israeli soldiers died in combat in the north of the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to the Israeli Army. The identities of three of the fallen soldiers have been communicated, while the name of the fourth is still to be confirmed.

Hamas has accepted a ceasefire proposal with Israel, which includes the release of hostages. However, the Israeli government has not confirmed the acceptance of this proposal. US President Donald Trump issued a "final warning" to Hamas regarding a possible ceasefire.

A new US proposal for the immediate release of all remaining hostages in exchange for 3,000 Palestinian prisoners and a temporary ceasefire was presented. Hamas, however, described this proposal as a "humiliating surrender document", but they continue negotiating.

Negotiations for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas were announced in Doha, Qatar. The negotiations involve the release of all hostages held by the resistance in exchange for a set number of Palestinian prisoners, and the formation of an independent technocratic national administration for Gaza. Israel's conditions include the surrender of Hamas, the release of all hostages, and disarmament of the Islamist group, otherwise Gaza city faces destruction.

The tower bombed on Monday, known as Al-Roya, is a 12-story building that housed offices of media outlets, clinics, sports facilities, and other civilian offices and businesses. Israel accuses Hamas of placing surveillance infrastructure in the evacuated buildings.

The Israeli Army has warned of a wave of attacks against multi-story buildings in Gaza City converted into "terrorist infrastructure". At least five high-rise buildings have been evacuated by the Israeli Army, which were bombed shortly after.

Netanyahu declared that he urged residents of Gaza City to evacuate the area on Monday. Around a million Palestinians were taking refuge in Gaza City at the time.

In a recent development, Hamas has accepted a new ceasefire proposal with Israel, which includes the release of hostages. The details of this proposal are yet to be confirmed by the Israeli government. The negotiations for this ceasefire are ongoing, and the situation remains fluid.
