Q-Park Netherlands and GreenFlux Team Up to Boost Sustainable eMobility Solutions

Q-Park Netherlands, a well-known parking and mobility brand with an outstanding reputation, has announced a collaborative venture with GreenFlux, a European electric vehicle (EV) charging solution provider. This partnership marks a significant step forward in the drive towards a more sustainable future for both companies.

Based in the Netherlands, Q-Park operates in key regions across Europe, including France, Germany, Belgium, the UK, and the Netherlands. GreenFlux, too, shares Dutch origins and concentrates its operations within the European market.

The decision by Q-Park Netherlands to adopt GreenFlux's EV charging management platform was influenced by its smart-charging capabilities and various charge point management system (CPMS) features available. These tools are expected to enable Q-Park to effectively oversee and enhance the performance of its charging stations.

Michiel Tenge, managing director of Q-Park Netherlands, stated that EV charging is increasingly important for Q-Park. He further mentioned that the collaboration with GreenFlux provides Q-Park with more flexibility and control to facilitate growth ambitions.

The collaboration involves GreenFlux facilitating the transition of 1,700 of Q-Park's electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) to GreenFlux's management system. This move was necessary as GreenFlux was tasked with migrating the Q-Park charge points from their former Shell Recharge back end to initiate operation under the new backend system.

Suthalan Gnanes, managing director of GreenFlux, expressed excitement about the finalized Q-Park partnership and its expansion in the European commercial parking space. He stated that this partnership demonstrates GreenFlux's commitment to driving the future of commercial parking as they now serve the top commercial parking operators in Europe.

Both Q-Park and GreenFlux are focusing on providing smart eMobility solutions to align with their sustainability goals. This partnership provides an opportunity for both companies to showcase their achievements, elevate their industry profile, and position themselves among top leaders driving automotive industry advancements.

The Just Auto Excellence Awards, which celebrate innovation, leadership, and impact in the automotive industry, offer a platform for these achievements to be recognised. With this collaboration, Q-Park Netherlands and GreenFlux are taking a significant step towards a more sustainable future, and their work in the eMobility space will undoubtedly be closely watched in the coming years.
