Patients, a male and female, are currently under medical care at a healthcare facility.

In a shocking incident that took place last night, a robbery occurred near Spandau Town Hall on Wilhelmstraße. A couple, a woman and a man, were walking on the street when the incident unfolded.

During the robbery, the suspect allegedly stabbed the 37-year-old man with a knife, causing injuries to his arm and upper body. The man was quickly attended to by an officer from the 23rd precinct who provided first aid before he was taken to a hospital. The current condition of the man is not disclosed.

The woman, who was shaken by the events, was also treated and released.

The suspect ran past the couple and snatched two suitcases from the 32-year-old woman. Despite an immediate search of the surrounding area, the suspect remains at large, and their description is still unknown.

The robbery unit of Police Directorate 2 (West) is now leading the investigation. They are seeking any witnesses or potential leads related to the incident. The Special Deployment Command (SEK) was also involved in a related incident at the location, as part of a police operation.

Meanwhile, the specialist criminal investigation unit of the Police Directorate West (Fachkommissariat der Polizeidirektion West) is investigating the assault in Wilhelmstadt.

The suitcases stolen during the robbery have not been recovered. The police urge anyone with information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the suspect to come forward.
