Traffic Accident in Pewsum, Krummhörn Claims Two Lives
A tragic traffic accident took place in Pewsum, Krummhörn on Monday, claiming the lives of two individuals. The incident occurred on Schatthausstraße (L4) and involved a van and another vehicle.
According to the available information, the van was traveling from Jennelt towards Pewsum when it collided head-on with the other vehicle in a slight right-hand bend on Schatthausstraße (L4). Both vehicles ended up in a ditch following the collision.
The driver of the van was a 34-year-old man, whose name is not provided in the search results. He and his 40-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. Tragically, the 29-year-old driver of the other vehicle died at the scene due to fatal injuries, and a three-year-old passenger was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. The 29-year-old passenger also lost their life as a result of the accident.
Several crisis intervention officers were present at the scene to provide assistance and support. The Schatthausstraße (L4) was closed in the vicinity of the accident for several hours to allow for the investigation and cleanup.
