In the latest crackdown on unlawful activities, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has permanently banned 15 individuals from all gambling activities at both physical and online gaming venues. These severe penalties are the result of various violations, with three cases involving child endangerment taking centre stage.

One man left his 3-year-old child unattended in a vehicle at Rivers Philadelphia Casino for four minutes while placing sports bets. Another incident saw two adults abandon a 5-year-old in a non-running car for 50 minutes at Parx Casino during 19-degree weather while they played table games.

Nine individuals have been added to the casino exclusion list, while six have been banned from online gaming due to fraudulent activities. These actions bring the total number of individuals on the PGCB’s Involuntary Exclusion Lists statewide to 1,405.

The PGCB's enforcement efforts are not just about individual penalties, but about maintaining the overall integrity of the gaming industry. The board's commitment to safety and responsibility is evident in its approach, which aims to ensure a safe and regulated gaming environment for responsible players.

The "Don't Gamble with Kids" campaign continues to underscore the importance of parental responsibility in gaming environments. The upcoming PGCB meeting, scheduled for July 23, 2025, is expected to focus on continued enforcement efforts in the gaming industry.

Meanwhile, legislative activity is underway, with bills such as Senate Bill 840 moving through the General Assembly. However, no new penalties have been enacted or publicized as of this report.

The PGCB's enforcement actions are a means of ensuring that legitimate entertainment remains safe and regulated. The board's efforts extend to both physical casino locations and online gaming platforms, reflecting its dedication to maintaining the integrity and safety of Pennsylvania’s gaming industry.
