Persistence of law enforcement leads to victories, as proven by LPI-EF
In a recent development, a theft involving the theft of approximately 40 euros from a bus's change box in Erfurt took place on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 07:00 on Am Urbicher Kreuz street.
The State Police Inspectorate Erfurt confirmed the news, stating that the perpetrator fled towards a field path after the theft. The trail of the suspect was followed on foot for about two kilometers, leading the police to a stable in the Niedernissa district where the 38-year-old suspect was found asleep.
Interestingly, this individual is known to the police, but the theft was not expected from them. However, the suspect arrested for bus fraud was not previously known to the authorities.
During a search, the stolen money was found on the suspect. The suspect has since received several criminal charges as a result of the incident. The bus driver was also able to get his change back after the incident.
