In the small town of Beckum, located in the district of Warendorf, a disturbance call was made to the local police on August 27, 2025. The incident took place at a residence on AlleestraรŸe.

Upon arrival, officers encountered two residents, a 22-year-old and a 25-year-old, who were found to be intoxicated and behaving aggressively and threateningly. Despite repeated attempts, the residents did not open the door for several minutes.

During the encounter, one of the residents attempted to push an officer out of the apartment, and the man continued to harass officers and make threats. The wife intervened, attempting to grab an extended baton.

The situation escalated further when the 25-year-old, who was denied access to the kitchen for his own safety, climbed out of a living room window and fell approximately eight to ten meters, suffering severe injuries. The name of the 25-year-old associated with the incident has not been disclosed due to ongoing investigations.

A 7-year-old child was present in the apartment, leading to child protective services being called due to suspected immediate danger to the child's welfare. The couple was subsequently separated, and the situation was brought under control.
