Greifswald, August 2025 - The city of Greifswald is set to host a unique and inclusive art exhibition titled "Soziokulturelle Zentrum St. Spiritus," as part of its 775th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition, which will run from August 21 to September 26, 2025, will feature around 120 exhibits in various techniques, including photos, paintings, drawings, prints, textile and ceramic artworks, and other objects.

The exhibition, which will be held simultaneously at St. Spiritus and the Kleine Rathausgalerie, invites citizens of all ages to submit their works, showcasing the creativity of the people from Greifswald. Director Imke Freiberg expresses her excitement about the number of submitted artworks, stating it shows the creativity and talent of many people in and around Greifswald.

The exhibition aims to showcase the personal perspectives of Greifswalders on their city. Visitors can vote for their five favorite pieces during the exhibition. The five most voted pieces will be released as a postcard series in November.
