Photography contest initiated by our environmental agency
The '2025 Environment&Me' photo competition has been launched, inviting photography enthusiasts across Europe to showcase their work and contribute to the story of a shared future. This competition, initiated by Helen Reichardt, a campus specialist at HTWK Leipzig, aims to highlight the connection between people and the environment.
The competition is not limited to a specific geographical location and is open to all European photography enthusiasts. Participants are encouraged to submit their close-up pictures, bird's-eye views, or eye-level shots that depict environmental themes, climate change, pollution, and environmental degradation, as well as positive change and hope in the face of environmental challenges.
The deadline for submissions is 30 May 2025. Photos should be submitted via the online form under one or more of the competition categories: BLUE - Water & Me, GREEN - Nature & Me, ORANGE - Everyday life & Me. Photographers are allowed to submit a maximum of 5 photos.
Winning photos may be featured in the organization's publications and other communication activities. By participating, photographers have the opportunity to have their work seen by a wider audience and make a meaningful contribution to the conversation about the environment.
More information about the prizes and eligibility can be found on the organization's website. Participants are encouraged to carefully read the Competition rules and Terms and Conditions before applying.
The '2025 Environment&Me' photo competition aims to celebrate progress and show challenges in the world, inviting citizens to depict their journeys to a sustainable future. This competition is a unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts to make a difference and inspire change through their art.
