A German national was arrested at Halle (Saale) Central Station on September 1, 2025, by officers of the Federal Police. The arrest was made in connection with two arrest warrants issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office Halle - Branch Naumburg.

The first arrest warrant was issued in January 2023, following the man's conviction for eight cases of joint computer fraud by the Local Court of Zeitz. He was sentenced to seven months' imprisonment for this offence. The second arrest warrant followed four months later, based on his final conviction for threats in conjunction with insults. This conviction carried a fine of 750 euros or an initial 50 days' imprisonment, neither of which the man paid or served.

In March 2025, another arrest warrant was issued due to his failure to serve the initial sentence. As a result, the man was wanted by the authorities and had been evading justice. He had also failed to serve the sentences imposed for both convictions.

The officers informed the issuing authority of the execution of the arrest warrants, and the man was taken to a detention facility to serve his seven-month imprisonment and 25 days' substitute imprisonment.
