A more serious incident occurred on the same day, around 11:30 AM near Baumerlenbach. A collision involving a car and a moped resulted in severe injuries to a 62-year-old man driving a Mercedes. The moped rider, a 23-year-old man, attempted to flee the scene but was later apprehended.

The moped was being operated without lights, and the police attempted a traffic stop when the moped turned onto Landesstraße 1045 without lights. The man was temporarily detained, submitted to a blood test, and later transported to a psychiatric hospital. The collision caused the state road to be completely closed during the investigation and cleanup.

A 41-year-old man threatened his neighbor, leading to the police intervening and taking the man into custody due to his aggressive behavior, refusal to cooperate, and apparent danger to himself and others.
