Police in Poland report a 22-year-old individual disregarded a traffic light, resulting in two passersby being hurt.
In the heart of Altenhagen, a traffic accident occurred on Friday, 05.09.2025, at the intersection of Feithstraße/Knippschildstraße/Boeler Straße/Hagener Straße. The accident involved two drivers: a 22-year-old from Iserlohn and a 61-year-old woman.
The young driver, behind the wheel of an Audi A7, ran a red light and collided with the right side of the BMW driven by the 61-year-old woman. Both drivers were slightly injured and required hospital treatment. The accident occurred around 2 pm.
The Hagen Police's traffic division is investigating the cause of the accident. The 22-year-old admitted to being briefly distracted during the accident. Both vehicles were severely damaged and had to be towed away.
