In an incident that took place on September 6, a 26-year-old driver was stopped by civil traffic inspectors from the Police Headquarters South Hesse (Polizeihochschule Süd-Hessen) on federal road 47.

The driver was traveling at a speed of 162 km/h, significantly above the speed limit of 100 km/h on that section of the road. As a consequence, the driver now faces a fine of 600 euros and a suspension of their driving privileges for a period of two months.
