Police Officer Steps Down at Age 36 from Law Enforcement Duties

On August 30, 2025, a 36-year-old Czech national was taken into custody at Stuttgart Central Station following an incident that involved assaulting law enforcement officers and causing a disturbance.

During the journey to the station, the man kicked an officer in the thigh and resisted further measures. He was also found to be intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of 2.4. The man was shouting and threatening the officers, and due to his behaviour, he was denied further travel by train staff.

As a result, the Federal Police were informed and took the man into custody for intoxication and behaviour. The man was also suspected of assaulting law enforcement officers.

Following the incident, an investigation was initiated, including on suspicion of assaulting law enforcement officers. Due to a psychological crisis, the man was taken to a specialized clinic for treatment.
