In the past few days, several incidents have taken place across southwest Germany, ranging from traffic accidents to domestic disputes and property damage.
In Tübingen, a physical altercation occurred on Mühlstraße around 12:05 AM on Saturday. A 29-year-old man was taken to the police station and spent the night in a holding cell. Reports suggest that a 34-year-old man threw a bottle during the altercation, striking a 24-year-old woman in the face and causing injuries. However, further details about the woman's condition are not available.
On the same night, a heated dispute between three road users took place at the intersection of L 1192 / L 1202 in Neuhausen auf den Fildern.
In a separate incident, a kitchen fire occurred in a multi-family building on Max-Eyth-Straße in Wernau on Friday. The driver of the non-operational Iveco small truck pulled over at a nearby parking lot, but the fire spread, causing damage to the truck. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
On Friday evening, a traffic accident occurred in School Street, Neckartenzlingen, due to a failure to yield by an 18-year-old driver. The man exhibited uncooperative and aggressive behavior towards the police officers.
A domestic dispute occurred around 10:30 PM on Friday evening in Reutlingen. A 29-year-old man is facing multiple charges for assaulting two police officers during the dispute. However, there are no reports specifying a person injuring multiple police officers on the Wednesday evening before last night in Reutlingen.
In another incident, unknown individuals caused damage to the Weilstetten primary school in Balingen between Thursday and Friday. The culprits gained entry through an unlocked door and damaged a bench, student artwork, chairs, a garden house roof, and windows. Anyone with information about the culprits is asked to contact Balingen police.
Finally, a moped rider sustained minor injuries in an accident that occurred in Tübingen. Tübingen police are investigating the incident further.
In a unique turn of events, three firefighters sustained minor injuries from cat scratches and bites while rescuing two cats from a smoky apartment in Tübingen. The man resisted violently, causing injuries to one officer by kicking him forcefully in the back. A search for the main suspect, described as a slim, dark-skinned man with short black curls, wearing a black t-shirt with a white pattern, blue jeans, and brown shoes, was unsuccessful.
The estimated property damage from the incidents is around 100,000 euros. The authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the local police.
