Real Estate Roundup: Cayuga County Sales for the Week of August 23

In the past week, Cayuga County witnessed a total of 23 residential real estate sales, averaging $191,357. The most expensive sale was a single-family house in Owasco, priced at $620,000, making it the most expensive residential real estate sale in Cayuga County last weekend.

On August 5, a detached house at 5681 Silver Street Road in Fleming was sold for $458,000. This property, built in 2003, boasts a living area of 1,408 square feet and features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The price per square foot for this house was a substantial $325.

Another significant sale was the single-family house at 2 Morningside Drive in Owasco, which was sold for $400,000. This spacious home, built in 1996, spans over 2,352 square feet and offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The price per square foot for this property was $170.

The single-family home at 2 Morningside Drive in Owasco was not the only property to change hands on August 1. Another sale was finalized for a single-family house at 5837 S. Gate Drive in Fleming. This property, built in 1987, has a living area of 1,554 square feet and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The sale price was $329,750, translating to a price per square foot of $212.

The city of Auburn saw a couple of sales as well. On August 5, the house at 9 North Park was sold for $215,000. This 1,780-square-foot property, built in 1920, features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The price per square foot for this house was $121. Another sale in Auburn was the house at 84 N. Lewis St., which was sold for $165,000.

The house at 35 Charles St. in Auburn was also sold during the week of August 23, although the title was recorded later. This property was sold for $195,000.

In addition, a 1,071-square-foot house at 41 Letchworth St. in Owasco was sold for $215,000, while a 1,222-square-foot house at 5812 S. Street Road in Fleming was sold for $200,000.

The single-family house at 28 Calloway Drive in Owasco, built in 2015, was another property that changed hands on August 5. This 1,222-square-foot property, featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, was sold for $213 per square foot.

Lastly, a house at 11906 State Route 34 in Ira was sold for $95,700. The sale at this location was finalized on June 2.
