In a series of recent operations, the Dortmund Police have been actively working to ensure the safety and security of the city's population. These efforts, known as the "Focus" presence concept, involve increased patrols in heavily frequented areas of the city centre.

During one of these checks, a 58-year-old individual was found with an arrest warrant for a sentence of 6 months imprisonment. The individual was subsequently handed over to Dortmund Prison. Indicators of illegal drug trafficking led to the seizure of narcotics and cash during further checks.

Another individual, a 36-year-old, was encountered on Stollenstraße during a personal check, riding a stolen high-value e-bike. The e-bike was secured, and a corresponding criminal complaint was filed.

At the north exit of the main station, a 29-year-old was found in possession of several units of drugs. A three-digit sum was secured for preventive seizure during the encounter. The 29-year-old had also violated spatial restrictions, leading to the initiation of corresponding criminal proceedings.

A known "dealer" was checked on Flotowstraße, who had repeatedly and multiply violated spatial restrictions. A criminal proceeding was initiated against the 59-year-old individual.

In another instance, an arrest warrant of almost 1000 euros was executed against a 22-year-old in the area of the Nordmarkt. After payment, he was released. Corresponding criminal complaints were filed, and numerous exclusion orders were issued.

The last arrest related to the presence measures ("Präsenzmaßnahmen") of the Dortmund police involved a 59-year-old man who was found on the premises of a recycling center on Lindberghstraße, Dortmund, where he was not authorized to be. After identity verification, he was released but remains under investigation.

The Dortmund Police continues its presence measures to enhance the sense of security among Dortmund's population and to prevent criminality and traffic offenses.
