Prolonged Success: South African Siblings Extend Impressive Series Against New Zealand A Over Four Hundred Years

In the ongoing series between South Africa A and New Zealand A, Jordan Hermann put on a spectacular show, scoring a career-best 186 not out in the third unofficial ODI. This was the second time Hermann has scored over 150 runs in a List A match.

Hermann's innings came after South Africa A chose to bat first in the match, with captain Marques Ackerman winning the toss. The opening partnership between Hermann and Rubin Hermann, his brother, was fruitful, as they put on 159 runs for the second wicket. Rubin Hermann scored 73 runs, while Jordan Hermann reached his century off 102 balls.

The century was Jordan Hermann's second consecutive century for South Africa A, following his unbeaten 101 in the previous match, which took South Africa A over the line. Rubin Hermann was also in form, scoring 109 runs in the second unofficial ODI and taking the first wicket for South Africa A in the third match.

Meanwhile, in the Paarl Royals' upcoming season, it's Jos Buttler who will be the cricket player to watch. Rubin Hermann, too, has been pre-signed by the Royals for the season.

Interestingly, Jordan Hermann will be up for grabs in the player auction on September 9. The talented batsman has previously scored a century for Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 in 2024.

In the first unofficial ODI, it was Rubin Hermann who scored a career-best 158 not out, while Jordan Hermann did not bat in that match.

The third 50-over match between South Africa A and New Zealand A was a close one, with South Africa A emerging victorious. The series continues, with both teams showcasing impressive batting performances from their players.
