Food Regulation Update: Proposal for a Council Directive Proposed, Aiming to Standardize Food Labeling Across Member States

Proposal accepted for a Council Directive on harmonizing food labeling laws across EU member states.

The Wartburgkreis District is hosting a week-long event titled "Nurture Hope - Psychologically Strong into the Future" from September 29th to October 2nd, 2025. This event, aimed at promoting preventive and psychosocial support services, will focus on the needs of young people with mental health conditions.

During the event week, there will be four free lectures with topics yet to be specified. The topics confirmed so far include "Dealing with Stress", "Living on Standby - How Unemployment Affects Health", and "Mood-Killers: Social Media". The remaining topics are eagerly awaited.

The week concludes with a free screening of the film "Back on Our Feet - A Series about Resilience in Youth" at 6 pm.

The event week emphasizes the possibilities of Animal-Assisted Interventions in the treatment of psychically ill youth. A trade fair day will take place on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, from 12:30 to 6 pm in the foyer of the Pab-Center in Bad Salzungen.
