In the early hours of August 28th, several incidents of arson were reported in the Moerser Straße area and Duisburg.

According to the Police Duisburg's official statement, a resident in Duisburg reported a fire at a house facade around 1:30 AM. Witnesses described a man near the fire, who was reported to be under 1.80 meters tall, with dark hair, and wearing dark clothing. The Police Duisburg have requested that anyone with information about this man contact them at 0203 2800.

Similarly, emergency services discovered and extinguished two trash can fires on the Moerser Straße at around 2:50 AM. The Criminal Commissioner 11 has initiated an investigation into these arson incidents and is exploring the potential connection between them.

It is also reported that unknown individuals set fire to waste and trash cans in the Moerser Straße area three times in quick succession on the night of August 28th. The description of the suspect matches the one provided for the Duisburg incident.
