Proposal sought for workplace safety measure against radiation risks by commission

On August 30, 2022, a maple tree located at the intersection of Neuehofer Straße and Platzhofstraße will be felled due to lightning damage. As a result, the outer lane of traffic at house numbers 15 and 17 will be closed, and the sidewalk will also be affected.

The municipal forestry department or the local city council will be responsible for the felling of the tree. The tree's stability has been compromised, making it necessary to remove it for safety reasons.

Motorists and cyclists coming from the city center will temporarily not be able to turn left into Platzhofstraße due to the closure. Traffic into Platzhofstraße will be diverted via Neuenkamper Straße, Straße Neuenhof, and Bergerstraße.

The closure is not a permanent solution, and the diversion of traffic is a temporary measure to accommodate the maple tree felling and subsequent closure. The works related to the felling of the maple tree are expected to be completed on Saturday.

It's important to note that the diversion of traffic does not affect the house numbers 15 and 17, as the closure is only at these locations. The diversion of traffic is also not a permanent solution to the maple tree felling and subsequent closure.

The outer lane of traffic at house numbers 15 and 17 will be closed due to the tree felling, and the diversion of traffic will not affect the closure of the outer lane of traffic at these locations. Similarly, the diversion of traffic does not affect the closure of the sidewalk at house numbers 15 and 17.

The completion of the works on Saturday does not indicate the reopening of the sidewalk and outer lane of traffic at house numbers 15 and 17. The tree felling and subsequent closure will affect traffic coming from the city center, but the diversion of traffic into Platzhofstraße is an alternative route and will not affect the traffic coming from the city center.
