Fusion Startup Proxima Fusion Secures Additional Funding
Proxima Fusion, a fusion startup based in Munich, has announced that it has raised an additional 130 million euros in a recent investment round. Founded as a spin-off from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, Proxima Fusion unites fusion scientists from the Max Planck Society with experts in engineering and computer science. The company, which employs between 80 and 100 people across locations in Munich, Switzerland, and the UK, is developing fusion power plants based on the Stellarator concept.
