Public buildings, including the National House and various agency headquarters, will be accessible to the public during National Day celebrations.
The National Assembly (NA) Office has announced that the National Assembly buildings in Hanoi will be open to the public throughout September 2025, as part of the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.
The event, scheduled to take place in Hanoi, will see the National Assembly buildings open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, except on August 28 when the opening time is from 1:00 PM. The National Assembly building on 1 Độc Lập Street will be open to the public from August 28 to September 2.
Relevant offices around Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi will also be open to the public. The NA agencies' headquarters at 22 Hùng Vương street will be open from August 31 through September 2. The morning sessions run from 8:30am to 11:30am, and the afternoon hours are from 2pm to 4:30pm.
The occasion is expected to attract a large number of visitors. Visitors can explore the halls, take photos, and use public amenities such as shelter from rains at Bắc Sơn Street and the first-floor lobby. The lobbies and gardens of the NA agencies' headquarters will be available for facility use and rain shelter.
The move aims to offer a better experience to visitors during the festive holiday. The NA Office's announcement includes the opening of the NA House and the NA agencies' headquarters. Visitors are asked to comply with instructions from security personnel and staff on duty to ensure safety, order, and cleanliness.
The event takes place in Ba Dinh Square, a historic hub in the capital. The National Assembly building, a symbol of Vietnam's political power, is located in this square. The opening of the buildings and offices is part of the celebrations for the national day.
