Purdue University experiences a convincing victory as Ryan Browne leads the team to a shutout over Ball State University.

In a dominating performance on Saturday, the Purdue Boilermakers defeated Ball State 31-0. The shutout victory was a testament to Purdue's offensive and defensive prowess, as they managed to keep Ball State off the scoreboard throughout the game.

The Boilermakers' offence was led by quarterback Ryan Browne, who had an impressive outing, throwing for 311 yards. Browne accounted for three touchdowns during the game, finding the end zone twice through the air and once on the ground.

Devin Mockobee was a key contributor in the Boilermakers' offensive success. He scored a 4-yard touchdown, making the score 21-0, and also played a crucial role in a 91-yard drive that led to another touchdown.

Arhmad Branch, a wide receiver for Purdue, had a standout game, recording three catches for 101 yards. His performance marked the first time in two years that a Purdue wide receiver surpassed the 100-yard mark in a game.

The Boilermakers' defence also played a pivotal role in the victory. They allowed Ball State only 203 yards from scrimmage and managed to stall out two good drives in the second half. Kiael Kelly, a key defensive player, absorbed four sacks during the game.

Purdue's offence was efficient, committing only three penalties throughout the game, and they were able to avoid turnovers. Carson Holmer, the Boilermakers' kicker, unfortunately missed two field goal attempts from 45 and 29 yards away, but his misses did not deter the team from securing the victory.

The defensive effort was particularly impressive considering that Jeff Brohm, the current head coach of the Purdue football team, took over in 2021. In the search results, there was no mention of a specific player who scored three touchdowns in that period.

The Boilermakers' impressive performance against Ball State sets a positive tone for the rest of their season. They will look to continue their winning ways in their next game.
