Race connecting Denia, El Verger, Ondara, and Els Poblets, spanning a distance of half marathon.

The second edition of the 21K Marina Alta Half Marathon is set to take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The details of the regional half marathon were presented earlier this week by representatives from the four municipalities, clubs, and organizations involved.

The scenic municipal territory of Denia will still be a part of the 2025 course. Runners will follow the Via Verda, the Cami Vell de Pego, and the Cami de la Mar in Ondara, passing through the centres of Ondara and El Verger before returning to Els Poblets, where the start and finish lines for the race will be set.

The 2025 course for the regional half marathon will be similar to the 2022 one, with modifications such as starting and finishing in Els Poblets instead of Denia's urban centre. The president of the Circuit a Peu de la Marina who set the participant limit for the second edition of the half marathon is Miguel Moreno, and it is expected to have 500 participants.

Those who participated in the most recent Circuit a Peu de la Marina Alta may benefit from reduced registration fees, according to Miguel Moreno, president of the Circuit. The specifics about the reduced fees remain unchanged.

Mayor Mas acknowledged the contributions of Local Police, Civil Protection, and volunteers in ensuring the smooth running of the regional half marathon. The spirit of 'fer comarca' was emphasized by Mayor Mas, referring to the collaboration between larger towns like Denia and smaller ones. Among the representatives were José Luis Mas, Valen Alcalà, Sergi Brogniez, Jordi Ruiz, and members of Club de Pilota Els Poblets, Club Sense Presa El Verger, Denia Corre, Ondara Tri-Esport, Club Atletisme Ondara, and the Circuit a Peu de la Marina.

No new information about the host town for future editions of the race was provided in the current announcement. Entries for the race will open at a later date.
