IRCTC Announces Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Package for Jyotirlingas Tour

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a new tour package for a jyotirlingas tour, set to take place in November 2025. The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train journey will commence from Yog Nagri Rishikesh Railway Station and last for 12 days.

This tour promises an unforgettable experience, taking passengers on a spiritual journey to seven jyotirlinga temples: Omkareshwar, Mahakaleshwar, Nageshwar, Somnath, Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar, and Grishneshwar. The tour also includes stops at Dwarkadhish Temple and Bet Dwarka.

The train accommodates up to 767 passengers, with three categories: Comfort (49 berths), Standard (70 berths), and Economy (648 berths). Solo travellers will share accommodation with other single passengers in the same category.

Prices for the Comfort category start at INR 54,390, Standard at INR 40,890, and Economy at INR 24,100 per person. A concession of nearly 33% is offered under the Bharat Gaurav Train scheme.

The journey will cover major halts at Ujjain, Dwarka and Bet Dwarka, Veraval, Nashik Road, Khadki, and Aurangabad. Passengers can expect a well-planned itinerary that includes train travel, accommodations, meals, travel insurance, and services of professional tour escorts and IRCTC tour managers.

However, it's important to note that entrance fees to monuments or temples, sightseeing not mentioned in the itinerary, local guide charges, tips, personal expenses, and any services not specifically listed under the inclusions are not covered by the package.

Passengers are required to carry a valid voter ID or Aadhaar card, along with proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, for boarding. Seat and berth allocations will be finalized one to two days before the journey, and final train timings will be confirmed two days before departure.

Religious tourism in India has been growing rapidly, causing environmental concerns such as waste, deforestation, water scarcity, and ecological disruption in pilgrimage towns. Passengers are encouraged to respect the local environment and follow all guidelines to ensure a sustainable and enjoyable experience for all.

With multiple boarding points along the route, the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train journey to the Jyotirlingas in November 2025 is set to be an unforgettable spiritual adventure for travellers.
